Vebash is a data analytics professional who pretty much loves anything about data, even data wrangling and munging, since she learns so much from that process and the tidyverse makes doing those tasks a pleasure! She has a background in Computer Science and Applied Math, and also has an MBA since she is interested in technical leadership. The thing that drives her is community building (particularly around R, which she loves) and getting more girls and women in Africa into STEM related fields. Towards that goal she is the organiser of RLadies in Johannesburg to promote the use of the R programming language among women and minority genders, as well as a proud member of AfricaR.
