Benjamin Soltoff is an assistant instructional professor and assistant director of the Masters in Computational Social Science at the University of Chicago. He earned his PhD in political science with concentrations in American politics, political methodology, and law and courts. He has extensive experience teaching beginning and advanced learners on topics related to computational problem-solving and applications in R. He currently teaches courses and workshops on social scientific research design, computational modeling, data science, and data visualization.
